Before working in nutrition, I spent 10 years in high-pressure corporate environments where long hours, constant availability and sustained high performance were often seen as essential for success.

Wellbeing initiatives existed, yet stress was frequently worn as a badge of honour. Energy crashes were managed with caffeine and convenience food, while burnout and sickness absence were often addressed only once performance had already declined.

This led me to question whether the real issue was motivation and engagement, or something more fundamental.

Why don’t more wellbeing programmes target the physiological drivers of performance?

That question led me to specialise in performance nutrition for ambitious teams, helping People, Culture and HR leaders implement practical, physiology-led wellbeing support that is personalised, measurable and designed to support sustainable performance.

The result is improved engagement, more consistent energy and focus, reduced burnout risk, and healthier habits that support long-term employee wellbeing.
