Meet Ali, Nutritionist in West Byfleet for Active Professionals

Hi, I’m Alison!

I know what it's like to be the person who looks like they've got it all together.

Calendar full, always showing up, and quietly running on high-functioning anxiety. I was stuck in the same loop: "good" all week, then undoing it all at the weekend. Restrictive diets and pushing harder at the gym didn't account for the life I was actually living, so none of it stuck.

Things shifted when I stopped asking what I was doing wrong and started looking at why I felt the way I did. I was crashing every afternoon, wired at night, and never properly fuelled for the pace I was keeping. Once I learned to eat in a way that kept my energy steady and my stress in check, the food noise went quiet, the weekend cycle stopped, and I finally felt comfortable in my own skin.

Now I help ambitious professionals do the same through The Realign Method.

How The Realign Method Works

A 6-month 1:1 programme that fits around your training, your work and your social life.

  • One-to-one sessions, every two weeks

  • Messaging support between sessions

  • A nutrition strategy built around your training week, client dinners and travel

  • Confidence and mindset coaching throughout

  • Progress check-ins every 6 weeks

Why you can't out-train your nutrition

Pushing harder at the gym to cancel out a busy week of eating is one of the most common patterns I see. It rarely works, and here's why.

Hard training is a stressor. Add long workdays, skipped meals and too little protein, and your body stays in a stressed state where cortisol stays high, recovery suffers and fat around the middle is harder to lose. More cardio on top of that often makes it worse, not better.

Signs your training isn't being fuelled properly

  • You're tired rather than energised after workouts

  • Sugar cravings hit hard in the afternoon or evening

  • You're sore for days and your progress has stalled

  • You sleep badly on training days

  • The scales and your clothes haven't changed despite the effort

A few things about me:

  • My one non-negotiable: moving my body every day

  • My go-to dinner order: fish and a big plate of vegetables

  • On my nightstand: a sleep mask and a glass of water

  • The supplement I never travel without: electrolytes

  • Where you'll find me on a Sunday: in the spa at David Lloyd

Results that speak for themself:

“One of my clients, an IT Professional came to me exhausted and relying on sleeping tablets to get through the night. By changing how he ate, and working alongside his GP, he came off the sleeping tablets completely and found the energy to start growing his own business.”
